  Folks, the point I wanted to ponder on is the winning of Fifa U20 W/C. Who won that cup for Nyantakyi and Ghana? The Tournament Coach - Sir Sillas Tetteh did it. He did everything under his sleeves to neutralized the current Brazil head coach Dunga from all his deadly arsenal tactical attacks UNDER 10 MEN.
  
  What sort of coach are we looking for as a talented soccer nation. Do we think a white man is the hanza for our soccer problems?
  
  Just like of my forum comrade said not long ago that, nobody can take a medicine for a sick person. We have the problem and we have to figure way out.
  
  The search for a new foreign coach is just a waste of time. GFA should give the job to Sillas Tetteh and pay him good that's all. Now Dunga is the head coach for Brazil National Team, why can we do so to for Sillas Tetteh as well.
  
  GFA gurus, open your damn eyes wide!

  its not by accident mourinho is an example of a good coach,the game against guinea,ghana started not too well but ok,then we scored and all the players went back to sleep,inviting the guineans to get confident slowly and got back into the game,ask yourself why ghana started raising their game again only after guinea had scored,if they could all game,.
  the job of the coach is to keep the team awake in the whole 90mins,i dont know about you but i knew from what i was seeing that guinea would score any moment soon just before they did,why didnt the coach,.they are all rubbish coaches,
  anyone who seen black stars under appiah,if he or she knows football,can tell we not playing to the level we know we can play,even when we beating teams,you can tell their is so much room for improvement,.we lack the psychological part of the game because this local coaches knows nothing about psychology,they cant get into the heads of the players because they are not educated and they dont have anything about them that would make the players want to play for them,

  Mine is similar. I'd have Accam on the right wing, and maintain Badu in midfield with Acquah.

  Dunga may succeed at his new position and Sellas may fail miserably. This is not because Sellas is not good or better than Dunga but they way we orgainze / manage our team is the key. We are not competing based on the coaches but by the whole system or chain of getting our team unto the field !! At the U20 Sellas succeed because there was less interference etc. Unfortunately at the Black Stars level everybody assumes a position of knowing better than the coach!!! We also have issues of age, appropriate training methods and other factors which go against us. Because of these things I personally think we have to critically examine the whole organisational process and make gradual improvements in order to succeed. Bringing in elite coaches from Europe will not help because they can not understand the haphazard way we organize in this part of the world.

  People always turn to race when a coach is needed for our BS. Skin color do not win games. good players and excellent management does. Ghana does not have a coach who fits the bill to become a BS coach. We dont currently have a person good enough to coach the specialized position in our national team. All we are asking for is a good coach, whether he or she is from ghana is irrelevant. USA tried their own for a while with no success, they went to Germany to bring in one that can help. Other countries dont need to go outside of their own because they have these resources at hand. If you cant grow a coconut tree in antarctica, then just import the coconut. why do you force something in an environment it was not made for? Get a GOOD COACH, ghanian or not, black or white, male or female, just get a Good Coach and lets return to our winning ways.

  I agree that race does not matter, but I would argue that some sort of cultural affinity is important. If you bring a coach who is excellent but has absolutely no connection to Ghana, he will have trouble relating to his players and the GFA. The reality is the best combination is someone who is an outsider but can relate to Ghanaians to some extent. Klievert, Desailly are sort of the type who would fit the mold. There are also some White coaches who have been coaching in the Ghana local league and living in Ghana for years. Some of those people might also be good candidates.

Most of the players don't deserve call up. There are some more up and coming ones wanting to play for Ghana but are being neglected.

  I have watched many of these qualifiers and to tell you the truth, some of the so called lesser teams of the past are simply getting better. I think some of us are still thinking that every game will be like the Cameroon v Sierra Leone game today where Cameroon won 2-0 and was in control most of the game. Those games are rare these days. Prepare for every game to be a challenge. Ghana will have to fight in every game.
