  Yussif Bassigi is simply re-echoing the same error and mentality of most Ghanaian coaches who always have others to blame for their failures. Here him say bringing the tge cup home was the ultimate, unfortunately that statement never gave other participants any respect and that's exactly the bane of Ghanaian football. Black Stars manages to surpass certain expectations in a world cup and suddenly the whole country went in frenzy claiming superiority over everyone else. Ghanaian national teams are usually over-rated and when they get beaten on international assignments then the blame game begings and finger pointing starts in all directions. Let Ghanaians stop self conceited ratings of tgeir football and begin to give respect to others doing better than them. Ghana football is still infant yet irrespective of whatever Ghanaians think about their football standards.

  1. Create a women's gfa
  2. Emulate the wnba basketball league and run your own women's league in ghana. Play the women's league after the premier league is done. You can't compete for attendance with the male league!
  3. Find a reputable female coach for your black queens
  4. Get more female players to play overseas, Europe, North American, asia
  5. Seek sponsors from corporate ghana to help your league
  6. Encourage the universities and poly, shs to have women's teams, competition.
