John, on behalf of the sensible Ghanaians in Ghana and around the world THANK YOU.
Thanks you for doing all that you can to lift up the flag of Ghana. I know sometimes we want to be the best in the world without making the necessary investment and that places unfair expectations on sports men like you
As for the FOOLISH FORMER athlete who has never performed as well as you have and yet thinks he can belittle you accomplishments, i say F$$K him. We need sportsmen like you who are trying to serve Ghana while seeking to secure a future for yourself.
Thank you, Thank you.

When i see negative comments to a personal response like this, it becomes obvious that there is some truth. The writer did not provoke this. His basic point is that someone who performed less admirably than he should not be criticizing he and his colleagues who have demonstrated through their recent performances that they warrant respect. It is the truth!!!

Another useless puppet. Just shut up and say the truth. You struggled a lot when you went to the US and all the other athletes struggled as well so stop singing praises when you know it's not the truth. You did not secure any scholarship from the schools in the US GAA paid for you and left you all to fend for yourselves so who are you trying to fool?

He has now transferred to a NCAA D1 school now that he is eligible and has 2 more years to compete. DO YOUR HOMEWORK.
You are attacking him for defending his honor after your stoogies like Nimako and now you attacked him.
As a country, isn't it athletes like John we should be hoping for? People who against the odds, excelled in Ghana with a little push from GAA, earned a scholarship to continue his education and athletics in the US, has already been a US college national champion and is now going to compete at the highest level i.e., D1. Oh Ghana.
Because of blind hatred, these athletes can win EVEN when they are winning. God save us all from people like you, Nimako and George {you} Lutterodt. If you can acknowledge progress even at the individual level, then stay in the filth you call your brain.

SARCASM: After all what fool would want go to the US on an educational/sports scholarship further his education and develop his athletic potential because the first year might be tough.

How the hell can you down play the achievements of the same athletes you want to govern? During your time in office, you inherited 14 top athletes and left with only 9 at the top. I wonder what will happen when you take over again. Mind you, this time we have 19 in the top 30 in Africa. You might as well leave us with nothing after 4 years. Dumbass!!!

Mr Cisco the writer has every right to say the prof is the only person. If you disagree fine. Name the person you support or think can do better. At least the young man is smart enough to explain why. If you have another person you think is better tell us who the person is and why so we can judge because reading this piece, i don't know of any recent sports administrator in Ghana who has help 15 sports men and women get scholarships for development. I am sure this Dodo man rubs some people the wrong way but if you know someone who can give better results and push athletes further than him tell us who the person is and exactly how and why this person will perform better. In the absence of that, you have no basis for questioning the writer's opinion.

Mr Ofodadi,
I certainly do not have anyone in mind and by implication I am therefore not in position to suggest one. So in case, his choice, God forbid, drops off - does that mean Ghana athletics also drops dead? Don't know if you are old enough to remember when JJRawlings was being "hounded" to hand over the reins of government? A well-known soldier is reported to have retorted "hand over to whom"? He did handover and Ghana did not disappear from the face of the earth; well, don't know about now. My point is, there's no indispensable person, by all means, make a case for your choice, and no one should begrudge, but implying, to wit, 'no nana no vote", hmmm,. My parting shot, when you feel so indispensable, a little story could just bring you to reality - fetch that bucket and fill it up, now splash wildly using one or 2 hands, as you wish. pull those hands out and give it a minute or so, "tranquility reigns supreme" in the bucket of water! like your hands were never there. the moral of the story, there's no indispensable person! His endorsement of Mr Dodoo is not the issue I raised.
