There is a reason why all the countries that had won the world cup did so with the coach of their own. Club success can not transpose to national team success and this why clubs has resources as long as they have money can "buy" any player but national teams you are limited to the nationals so you must have an in depth understanding of country hence having one of your own is the best way to go but do not tell this to inward looking whiteman worshiping GFA. Akwesi Appiah discovered and found so many players than any of the second rated whitemen.

Avram Grant? Oh dear! What actually influenced the GFA's decision in opting for Avram Grant? Credentials? What credentials? Technical brain? What Technical brain? This 'Dinosaur' is neither an outstanding Football coach/manager nor an accomplished Technical Director at club level and international football. Avram Grant had a disastrous managerial stint in the English Premier League. He presided over the relegation of both Portsmouth and West Ham from the EPL, and struggled at Chelsea. Can he be considered as the man to bring joy to Ghana football? I don't think so!

Avram Grant's style of football is very conservative, and he cannot be considered as a 'tactical genius' in football. The physical size and skills of Black Star players are best suited to attacking football. Tactically, playing attacking football that favours pressing and possession. For instance, the game against Germany at the World Cup in Brazil.

And, if Avram Grant is being appointed as Technical Director, is he the man to shape Ghana's football development? This is another poor decision by the GFA, and Ghanaians will only suffer more disappointment in international football.

Changes come with strong terrestrial mind with a sense of propriety to succeed. Changes come with knowledge, environment, money and dedication. A change can be for better or worse. And in this case you want GAF to change for the betterment of Ghana football. Your observation on the ground is that, the robustly antiquated indulgence with staccato rhythms of management need to be change. My brother, coaches are charming when they are winning and if not they are shown the exit door immediately. Coach Appiah and others will not be the only victims of this firing squad. Coaches are always on the move with temerity because their position is not permanent. They live a life of uncertainty through out their coaching carriers.
My brother, I wish you could buttress your position(cry for change) with some kind of immaculate suggestion that GAF should change to be able to maintain coaches and a winning team like the black stars. What are the changes your sober mind thinks they should embark on. You are labeled as a renegade maverick because you don't bring in any constructive criticism my brother.
My brother, before the GAF highest ranking membership listen to you- you might have to convince them first but not with your richly ornamented cry alone.
My brother you are not in the political arena whereby you oppose to every decision the ruling govt makes. Look at the decision makers are they knowledgeable on the issues at hand. Secondly, do they have the natural resources to support the plans they have. Thirdly, is the environment conducive for the implementation of the project or plan. Lastly, what kind of supervision and accountability is not there just to safeguard the success of the programs. This is one problem which cultivate corruption in the country. All the senior officers are in the big cities like Accra and the genuine fowls farm is in Paga, what do you expect will happen. Nothing will get done to bring any progress.
This is my observation on this philandering problem, there is no patriotism amongst many Ghanaians any more. They wake up from bed with the cedi sign on their forehead and they make sure it does not slip off when they come back to bed. My body and mind began to gloat when I think of the old days of Ghana sports. We took great pride and delight in representing the country in various sports competitions. But these days the greediness of todays sportsmen and women had changed the game totally.
