Morroco pulled out of membership of African Union more than two decades ago and as such no longer obligated to abide by any rule binding the Union. Morroco cares less about any sanctions coming from CAF anyway and, if European Union had accepted Morrocan application to become a member of EU; Morroco would have siezed to be a member of CAF a long time ago. CAF should refrain from planning any future African football calender with North African Arab countries in mind because they have never felt Africans apart from their geographical location which physically lumped them together with sub saharan Africa. They are more loyal, spiritually, emotionally and politically commited to the Arab League than Africa Union.

GADDAFI HAD 75% FOR HIS PEOPLE EVEN BEFORE NEGOTIATIONS BEGAN FOR THE SHARING OF THE REMAINING 25%.

1. GET YOUR OWN PROFITS BACK.

2. STOP IMPORTING THINGS YOU HAVE IN YOUR OWN BACKYARD.

3. PRODUCE YOUR OWN NATIONAL-TEAM COACHES.

Other african countries lets boycott this tournament for the safety of our citizens and dont be greedy cos of few dollars our FA officials may siphone when the tournament is staged. Why blame Morocco? Ghana also pulled off. I guess it was a good decision. Fans from W.Africa will watch Afcon than World club. Morocco can screen few from ebola territory that may go for the world club cup.

Morroco's concern is purely it's financial and tourism. They do not see themselves as being a part of a united Africa, so those who seem to want to congratulate them for pulling out of AFCON are wrongheaded and mistaken.

Even Egypt has more "loyalty" and solidarity with Africa, but Morroco wants to have its cake and eat it. It is their right to do so, BUT please let's not have those apologists singing and praising Morroco for pulling out of AFCON...for what...for Africa unity? Please!

If AFCON generated revenue that impacted them serioulsy they would have bent over to play AFCON but it doesn't.
Perhaps CAF needs to let Morrocco sit out of a few AFCONs to get into the Morrocn FA's mind that they cannot choose to use AFCON as a vehicle for their own interests as it suits them....this is not about love for CAF but about having a credible tournament where countries don't play "pick and choose" as they feel.
