Its of no wonder that he wore the number 11 jersey on that day. He and Majeed Waris should always be played behind Gyan. They provide the needed attacking power upfront.

Fuck off and stop your malicious agenda. Gyan became the Captain because he was in he Black Stars long before Dede Ayew. When Essien, KPB, Muntari, Abeyie, Dede Ayew and Jordan Ayew, all left the Black Stars, Gyan returned from the UAE to play for Ghana even when people were throwing stones at him and threatening his life. John Mensah, Richard Kingston, Laryea Kingston retired after the 2010 World Cup and the only 2 players left in the Black Stars from the old group were Gyan and Paintsil, that's how they became Captain and assistance but Essien and Muntari came back and tried to snatch these duties away from them. You don't remove leaders before their time else Mahama would have been removed a long time from the Flagstaff House.
