Why is Janet Amponsah's name not in there sh run the fastest time 100m and 200m this year.....How about Atsu Nyamadi, Elizabeth Dadzie,Lydia Mato who has been sweeping Gold in 5000 and 10,000 here in the U.S. Well guess anybody can organise anything and call it sports awards.

I read with total amazement when I came across Jorome's name. Facts are facts, the guy is a German, I don't care if his father is the president of Ghana, he does NOT claim to be a Ghanaian so why all this Wahala. Even Welbeck ...

Facts are facts, the guy is a German, I don't care if his father is the president of Ghana, he does NOT claim to be a Ghanaian so why all this Wahala. Even Welbeck who is a full blooded Ghanaman does NOT hold a Ghanaian passport so why are we chasing these guys as if we lack sportsmen/athletes who are proud to be one of us?

Those we forced in to play for us, what did we do to them? For God's sake please show some dignity or pride in being Ghanaians. We should not be going round begging people to become Ghanaians.

What a shame!

That was immediately after she won gold at the 1994 Winter Olympics, even before she set foot in the U.S. for the first time. All misplaced wish.

I hope Kwaku Ahenkorah wins the Best Volunteer award. The Venue Media Officer work he's done at the Baba Yara Stadium for the past 2 years deserves commendation. He's one of the few shinning spots in our local football
