Coach AG may very well have to embrace the new cultural environment but it's ridiculous to suggest that the coach should adapt to a so-called African system of football. It is uncertain what Andre Ayew means by the term African football but whatever that means, it has not been a major brand on the world stage .
It's the coach's job to build a competitive and winsome team but it's the players' responsibility to adapt to the coach's technical instructions and management style. As far as I'm concerned, football is football, and the only brand that the Black Stars should adopt is the "championship"brand where the team sticks to a well rehearsed game plan, responding to game time re-inforcements and changes from the coach. Most of our home-bred players can not pass the ball accurately and they lack good anticipation of where the ball is going to be and move to empty spaces. The players need to be physically and mentally strong, fast and skilful to be championship grade on the more competitive world stage.

Appoint and add Odenkey.Desailly to your technical team. He is prolly the only one who has the same train of thought with Grant..Desailly will be of immense help to Grant. Much more than the rest.

So the coach plays the game and should win the cup for Ghana? Adapt to African failing system OR change the system? If you want the status quo, appoint Nyantakye and let John Mahama be his assistant.
