We are also aware of the discomfort of playing the game when it comes to injuries but it is a profession they have chosen themselves . These our african professional footballers should know very that the developed countries where their respective clubs are don't pay their national teams such a huge sums of monies. There are other Ghanaians who does a more riskiest jobs but don't even earn one thousand dollars compare to five thousand dollars for a 90 minutes. These guys are making football unattractive in Ghana. Avram Grant should select the local players and they even appreciate 2000 USD per game.

BUT THE TRUTH IS THAT THESE MOENY PAID TO THE PLAYERS ARE "Not Tax Payers Money" BUT RATHER MONEY PAID OUT BY CAF/FIFA - AS TOURNAMENT REPRESENTATION MONEY - WHICH BY THEIR FRAMEWORK/CONTRACT OF PARTICIPATING THE VARIOUS FOOTBALL ASSOCIATIONS SHOULD PAY OUT PART OF THE MONEY TO THE PLAYERS AS "PERFORMANCE FEES", WINNING BONUS FEES e.t.c !!

As a result, an aircraft was chartered to send them their moneys totaling over $3 million - this put the whole country in disgrace before the global public. As if they knew no shame, some of the players were seen kissing their moneys as if that was what they were living for.

Nyantakyi is a very clever chap who always take advantage of the ignorance of Sports Ministers to dupe the nation Billions of cedis.
Typical example is the gross ignorance of the Sports Minister,Mahama Ayariga who did not know that World Cup Price Money belongs to the state and not the FA.Otherwise why would he readily accept only 4million dollars from the FA. It took the intervention of the Presidential Commission to let the minister know that the whole amount of money belongs to the state.
Nyantakyi has done the nation more harm than good and must leave the scene.He must go.He has destroyed Ghana football for his selfish gains. He must go.

It is about time the government and the gfa call off all the nonsense and bluff of these so-called football stars who from as far back as 1984 had consistently and persistently caused individuals & families needless heartbreaks and needless deaths for overhiping their ability to lift the caf cup, we've brought down every known professional in europe & the americas. the result is one humiliating defeat after another and these players have all along carried themselves up like tin gods and miserably enough government have in each occassion sheepish falling to their crap as if the heavens is descending on us without soccer..If they cant agree to this amount we better ussher them into hell. after all the locals are eager to step in. in anyway all the four caf cups we won previously were achieved on the back of the local boys. why are we all behaving as if there no life without football. just take a look at our asian counterparts how much energy do they waste on football they way we do.. please there are far weightier matters of national concern to expend our energies on. over thirty years of this soccer nonsense what have these 'professional' produced to us....lets stop the arrant madness, pls.....
