Why don't you just say, "Yes, he did report late, we were not happy about it, but the issue has been resolved and we're moving on"?
Why is this innocuous story (my view) even worth denying? Why must everything by a taxpayer-funded enterprise (GFA) be a secret?

If a hunter goes to the bush and comes home with no game/deer. The wife and kids are sad($0). If the hunter comes home with with half a deer($2500) and wife and kids will smile. If the hunter comes home with a FULL deer($5000) the whole house is happy and they throw a party to celebrate.
Why should you be rewarded for putting up poor performance? If you draw or lose a game. Your reward should be dipped or reduced. $5,000 for WIN. $ 2,500 for draw. $ 500 for loss. This will provide an incentive/reason for the players to win all their games and claim the maximum $5,000 per game. If you tell me that regardless of a win, draw.or loss. I still stand to make the maximum $5grand per game. Then, the incentive to win or even get the trophy is automatically lost. Call Ups to the national team is an honor and must remain so. Players must only receive qualifications bonuses when they go past the semis in any tournament or qualify to afcon, wcup. When these players get call ups. It helps their careers and they claim points that enable them with their resident/work visas. That's enuff! The ghana taxpayer can't afford to pay their round trip first class plane fare, 5star hotel bills, food and boarding and still give them huge appearance fees. If I were the gfa executive committee and fa president such appearance fees will be abolished!
