Nation (irrespective of the maladministration) the leaders (including the captain) should have looked up to the task ahead first rather than fighting over the bonus payment . Yes it was their right & moreover this was frequently occurring , the captain should have at least taken charge by having assurances from the President of the nation . WHAT A MISTRUST!!!! causing us the international disgrace - transporting cash (at a cost) from Accra to Brazil.
One thing we should all realize is that these players became what they are mostly because of international assignments.

3. Gyan chases it with all his might and strikes from an accute angle. (The velocity of the pass from Wakaso provided the necessary momentum and Gyan was smart enough to know the level of touch needed)

It was an all or nothing pass made in desperation, afterall, it was deep in injury time and Ghana had nothing to lose by clearing their lines. Where Wakaso showed he was more intelligent than the average player is that he didn't just boom the ball away, he put it somewhere where Nyame Adom, something can happen.
3. Gyan used all his might, took a beautiful first touch to set up a shot, but he actually scoffed the shot. But thats just as well..
