The thing is that you are partially correct and Dede is partially correct. Jordan is more of a hold up forward who will pass to the other forward or find the attacking midfielders making runs. He is not a person who is going to score often. He is a goal poacher type who will put a loose ball in here or there. I see him as an Agogo with better dribbling skills. He is a player that you get a good sixty minutes out of but if a goal is desperately needed then you bring in a fresh striker. Since we are a smallish team, we need a physical forward who can make the opposing defense have to work a little bit and this can lead to some openings for others. If Otoo, Appiah or Accam become prolific scorers then that is a different story but for now, we just have to take him as the role player that he is.

That is what we are talking about here. No hatred. Let's look at his passing %, assists, shots on goal or on target? Use these to defend him. What everybody is saying is that there other players that can also be tested. Try them and if they don't perform bench them. Have you guys watch and see how Jose Mourinho coaches? If you don't perform he benches you.
One question: why are people not talking about Dede? Are they not brothers? Please, this is National Team and not a family tree. Every player should have equal chance. Look at Each player stats on the field and if it's good enough bench him and play another so that there will be competition and players will work hard when they get the chance on the field.

Not that people don't like him. Black Star need his structure but he is not performing. I like both of you and was waiting to see both play but the way things are going he is not helping the team and you in particular. Today it is this same Gyan that we rely on to the point that when he is not available for a match, people start worrying about who will provide us with goals.
Dede Ayew was also criticized as immature and not a black stars material during the 2008 AFCON in Ghana . Some people said he did not deserve a place in the team, but was only called because of his father. Today he is one of our most reliable players.Some said John Boye should not be used again following the 2014 world cup saga only to score that important goal for us during the game against South Africa.There are more examples of Ghanaians calling for the head of several players including Sulley Muntari, Michael Essien etc, only for them to return and prove us wrong. What is the lessen here? We must be patient when players are invited into the national teams. Anyone given the chance to play by the coaches is considered vital to the game by the coach so we have to be contractive in our analysis cum criticism.Experience counts during tournaments and if certain groups of players have been playing together for sometime, you do not go changing such partnerships in the middle of a major tournament.It is true Jordan needs to learn to pass the ball at the right times but I believe we all contribute to his selfish play since we always say he is not scoring. When you refuse to acknowledge players' overall contribution to the game and focus on only those who score goals, they will become selfish as those who are often criticized will want to score themselves instead of passing the ball to those in better positions to score. There is no point in running more than most as you have alleged and having no impact on the game. Jordan also must be quickly awake and this secrete that football is not an individual play; it's team work and as such, every player ought to anticipate or look for open spaces and connect their team mates who're in good goal-scoring positions for victory. It's better that way than to squander begging goal-scoring chances only to raise one's arms and eyes into the skies, in regret. I hope little Bro. Jordan will try to mature.
