Perhaps readers have forgotten his unprovoked attack on Atsu earlier on in the game. But anyone who observed that only needs to add the two together to see the intention of this 'keeper.

But if I had my own way I would suggest that never should Ghana ever consider engaging in any friendly match with this juju-wearing Guinea team. They played three matches drawing all, and were lucky enough to still go ahead by some good luck so why were they peeved when they were beaten soundly by a team that had beaten them many times before? They are a disgrace to African football.

I blame Asamoah Gyan for the predicament. There was no need for him to challenge the Guinean goalkeeper at the time the latter had conceded 3 goals and was psychologically not himself.
Asamoah Gyan should have allowed the ball to go. Was Asamoah Gyan bent on scoring at all cost?
Asamoah Gyan did not use his head on this occasion. His desperate run to get the ball was unnecessary.
His injury was as a result of his own misjudgement.
Asamoah Gyan must learn from old timer Osei Kofi who never got injured during his playing days.
Osel Kofi used his head. Osei Kofi knew when to go for the ball and at the same time when to leave the ball to go.
