I think Gyan is feeling well. I don't believe this attack could cause a long term injury but the coach decided to not to include him in the semifinal game in order not to aggravate the injury.

Does it make sense to pray and predict doom for one's national team bcos of the hatred for a mortal individual? Now, here we are at the final and where the heck are they? Ghfuo has won my admiration. Why? He is the only one standing. He's owned up to every nonsense he said and above all, he hasn't changed his name to cover his shame unlike the other stupid fools. Rasheed is now The Truth. Birmingham has gone cuckoo. St Anthony as well as Moscow has evaporated into thin air. The list is long. Soccer does not follow logic.
Just like every one from Equatorial Guinea wanted their team to win and so was everyone from Ghana wanted Black Stars to win. In the end the Black Stars, a better team, won.
No wishful thinking. The better team will 90% of the time win.

Personally, I will take any result as a Ghanaian. If we lose it was because Ivory Coast was better than us.
I believe, a good strategy, hard-work and with some luck. Yes Luck, can help the BS win.
Player for player, Black Stars vs Elephant, I personally think the Ivorians have more skillful players.
