Kwarasey is decent and there needs to be some form of resolution to this issue. He and Stephen Adams are two key keepers. Brimah is ok, but only a squads player.

He is a poor penalty taker for a striker. Above all, he scores a goal each after several good chances which any good striker will never miss target. In fact, he is an opportunist player who depends on others hard work. You may applaud him for his goal against Algeria but is this strange for a player we see as a great striker? There is no issue to resolve – Kwarasey is the issue. He grew horns, and he should keep his long horns. Who is he to, effectively, demand that a member of the technical team be fired before he will play for the Stars? He can’t dictate who GFA appoints to handle the team. It’s good he fired himself, and he should remain fired – the Black Stars don’t need him, he is not particularly a good goalie. By the way, nobody is indispensable. When time comes to play, we make do with what we have. Zakari did quite well and at least took us to finals and penalty kicks. Only one kick difference gave Ivory Coast the cup. Kwarasey must be learning the hard way that it’s ATTITUDE that gets you ALTITUDE, not APTITUDE.

Say what you like, but am sure Kwarasey would have been able to save at least a goal and scored at the penalty shootout. RAZAK was good, but KWARASEY is better. As a nation, we have to swallow our pride and reconciliate for the better, and a dialog with Kwarasey and others must be looked into. Secondly we have to forget the past and move on as a nation. Mistakes were made within the world Cup era, and that must not be a permanent BLOCK.
