They won the cup okay,but were they so exceptional? Hell No! IT was sheer luck that got them the trophy.At least the whole nation of Cote d'Ivoire can attest to this.

Are you saying that when the Gas and the Ewes play, they look for and pass on the ball only to people of their ethnic groups? Who're those Ga and Ewe players? Identify some of them by name and tell us how exactly they play that demonstrates that they indeed play for their own ethnic groups and do not play as a team?. Is that what you see Vorsa and Atsu do when they play?
Your problem surely is that you're suffering from ethnocentric pride. You have a false sense of ethnocentric superiority and the earlier you critically examine yourself and overcome it, the better.

Why should the Captain and a striker run away from penalty kicks when we need him the most? Let's compare Gyan to some of the great Ghanaian strikers of the past. He has NEVER impress me with the way he plays. He doesn't attack. He doesn't dribble. He look lazy and confused on the field. He is a poor penalty taker for a striker. Above all, he scores a goal each after several good chances which any good striker will never miss target. In fact, he is an opportunist player who depends on others hard work. You may applaud him for his goal against Algeria but is this strange for a player we see as a great striker? He was a total waste during the AFCON.
