You don't have to be a coach to know more than a coach, and you don't have to play football to understand football. There are many people who know more than a President but they are not Presidents. Coaching is all about choices, tactics and strategy. Although Grant is very good at picking up good players for every position, I think he lacked strategy and goofed at the end. You don't play a defensive game in a final unless you trust your players as good penalty shooters, plus you don't use rookies in the top 5 of a shoot-out, period. This is not rocket science and you don't need to be a coach to know this. Criticism is good, only insults are bad. Criticism is what has made Ghana's national team one of the best in Africa.

When watching the game with other people, I told them that the coach shd remove akwasi appiah who had done well in the previous matches but this match in question he loses every ball and most of his passes ended with our opponents.I said if it's done, we could beat them in the run of play. Also, I talked about our goalkeeper; I said if we're anticipating of playing extra time and penalties then we need to change our goalie. Honestly, if we'll be truthful; Fatao dauda is better than Razak which the latter could have saved one or two kicks. So yaw boateng gyan let it be known to you that when you politicians disunite us with your talks, incompetence and inactions, it's football which bring us together as a nation, hence our talking.

The writer of this article mr Boateng Gyan should have known by now that Ghanaians hardly learn their lessons to change for the better.It is regretable to note that Ivory coast has once again taken victory out of our hands,and they would pluck it out of our hands any time we encounter them for the finality of the AFCON if we do not take necessary measures for our determined accomplishment.
