If if had to take Atsu's best player performance at AFCON to make Martinez realise his capabilities, then he is not a smart coach at all. I will never understand why he has not been playing Atsu at all. Not a single player in Everton is anywhere as good as Atsu. To therefore not play him in your first eleven is inexplicable. I think he should leave Everton and also demand first team football with Chelsea or go to a top club like Manchester United. The whole world now know what he has to offer. This is your time to call the shots.

I suggest Atsu should go to Arsenal, his style of play fits that of Arsenal, besides he will form a terrific combo with Welbeck.

seriously, coaches like Martinez are career destroyers who are not fit in their positions to handle pure talents such as Atsu.

Let's face it, Atsu has only revealed his hidden talent at this AFCON. Everyone including myself knew the talent was there but he was hiding it. There had been a lot of criticism both home and abroad about how he was hiding his great talent with selfish play. The whole world can now see the real talents of Dede and Atsu under Avram Grant because they've both suddenly stopped playing selfish and playing as a team in the Black Stars. I believe this is why he was not getting playing time in Chelsea so it's not the coach's fault. The pressure and money in English football is so big no coach wants to take chances. This is Atsu's time to display his great talent so foolish Ghanaians should stop calling him Ghana Messi because he is one great talent on his own.

It took coach Grant a few practice sessions to uncover the true gem in Atsu.He should be competing for Chelsea's first team. He's playing fantastic soccer right now; he could be one of the bests.

Gone are the days when players come down to play for black stars and get completely deflated and confused when they go back to their teams. Under Appiah that was many teams concern. Just think about what Atsu's coach is shamefully admitting now and what Dede Ayew did upon his return. Wakaso, Jordan, Mensah, Kwesi Appiah, Boye, Afful, Braimah, Afriyie, Baba and the rest on bench will no longer be who they were. They have really polished their play. Watch out for more revelations. Jimmy Lawrence also put them back in shape.

Folks, do you recall a while back when Jose Mourinho was so mad at Everton for not fielding Atsu that he threatened to canceled the loan deal? I think Roberto Martinez is not a good coach.

This is the reward they get from playing for the Stars, not the $100,000s they hold Ghana to ransom for. This is how playing for the country enhances their professional careers -- then the moment they turn around and say 'I AM LORD, NA WHO BE THE STARS? CASH DOWN OR I NO GO PLAY'. They should get only honorarium and expenses paid for playing for the Stars, while their real paycheques should come from their professional play on their clubs. It's only fair, and there is the added pride and honour of playing for your country.
