Why was Herbert Mensah not given a second chance? It's because after his successful market of Kotoko, he turned around and looted the team. Herbert is a crook just like Kwasi Nyantakyi.

Look at the pros and cons. No man is a saint. Nyantakyi is simply trash. The money nyantakyi has stolen for himself does not equate the performance and level of infrastructure we expect in ghana soccer.

Did Kwabena Yeboah really make this statement? No way!! S.K. Awuah was the first to operate the Constitution promulgated by the late Otumfuo Opoku-Ware. He cleared all the debt and the mess left behind by Ofori-Nuako, brought Ibrahim Sunday back, got sponsorships (even in those days), two buses for the team plus Club House. He prepared audited and published Kotoko Accounts etc etc. He was the Best!! he proof that one did not need to be personally rich to handle Kotoko profitably. Herbert Mensah used Kotoko to further his personal business that did not reflect in Kotoko accounts.

I still curse Herbert who is an hearts of oak supporter. he had the chance to be a Kotoko chairman and he pounced on it to expose himself to Ghana sports. after his chairmanship did he associated himself with other clubs, even wanted to join his darling club hearts of oak. the best chairmen Kotoko had ever had are simms mensah , yaw bawuah, and ofori nuako whose leadership we did lose a match to hearts for four years. Kwabena you are totally and absolutely wrong on this statement.

He proved it by brandishing GPO registration document of the paper with his name instead of the club's. The Asantehene out of frustration asked him to stop using d name KOTOKO and he changed the name to SOCCER EXPRESS which is now defunct. The current KOTOKO EXPRESS was established by the then INTERIM MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE(IMC). Herbert is a clever fraudster.
