  After loosing two in a row to Errol Spence and Felix diaz , who both had undefeated records , one will think Lartey would have step up his game against another undefeated fighter in this case Vasquez. Larteys recent win is over fadded , sparring partner for anyone who can pay,former titlist steve forbes (35-12-0).
  His performance was so bad i couldnt even watch.Trust me if anyone says the fight was closed he/she must have been high on something.. errrr did read the judges scores, i cant believe they even gave him a round. We have a few boxers around , just afew , with Fredrick Lawson being one of them , he fights on the 17th in Miami against a still dangerous Bredis Prescott (Amir khan knockout fame). Lartey Lartei Emmanuel is about to join the host of loudmouth Ghanaian boxers with padded records who now loose badly whenever they rise to a real challenge.aka Ray Narh.   To be fair,the lartey guy did not have a winning mentality and therefore aimless throughout the fight

  Anyone who comments that the fight was even close is a blatant liar and isn't interested in the progress of boxing in Ghana. The fight was one-sided and Lartey offered no meaningful opposition. Vasquez was just hitting him at will and the fight should have been stopped earlier, honestly. Lartey's jabs were mostly short because they were thrown from afar, though he was the shorter of the two boxers.His punches had no bite, with the exception of occasional left hooks. His camp should retrain him in all the shortcomings I have mentioned before sending him to his next fight. It was very sad seeing a Ghanaian so under-perform like he did.
