  Ghana should not host the next African Cup of Nations. It was not long ago that we hosted the tournament in 2008. We co hosted with Nigeria barely 15 years ago. Ayariga is eager to host, because he believes it is an avenue to steal. Why did he want Ghana to host the just ended African Nations Cup? This man made it look like he wanted Ghana to host because he wanted to save the tournament. Now other countries want to host the tournament. Algeria last hosted the tournament in 1990, and it should go to Algeria. This sports minister will go down as a clown.

  There is something funny here....you don't invite guests to your house when the place is in a mess.....is the Government counting on the Turkish power barges to keep the lights on to not embarrass ourselves when we have the over 500,000 additional people over for football in 2017?

  Are you going to be able to provide electricity for the scoreboards, and the floodlights? Or all the games will be played in the mornings? And what about foreign news networks that would want to broadcast the games live to their home countries? You'll ask them to bring portable generators with them for the purpose? First things first - and AFCON 2017 is most definitely not among the first priorities for Ghanaians now.
