  Ghanaians still don't get it. The greatest miss penalties. Messi just missed another penalty. Roberto Baggio missed it a crucial one in 1994 WC FInal against Brazil. Am not saying it's just fine to miss it. But is normal for a great player to miss a crucial penalty. When this happens the player should be encouraged not rebuked. Some supporters went too far to attack his family.Whats wrong with these people? Now he has taken himself out and is a problem. In 2006 WC Final in Germany Zidane's absent caused France to loss it just Gyan's absence caused us to loss the just ended Afcon. Now look at Gyan's 23rd International goal at Wembly and how a great player he is kept England defenders startled with twist and turns and how he changed his feets in the 18 yard to power Ghana level with England and give him the respect because he's one of the best assets in Ghana football.

  Gyan became the captain after Essien, Muntari, Dede and Jordan Ayew had quit the Black Stars for a period of time. Ghana people have very short memory.

  Why not, as long as he does not continue to blow away chances, when his team winning depends on that crucial kick Having broken Ghanaian hearts too often he better think his move very carefully. Ghanaians may not be that forgiving if he blows away again another chance. We cannot wait, Asamoah!Blowing away chances is not something to make a habit of particularly in very crucial matches.

  You have done your best for Ghana and Africa,everything on earth has its limit.You are the African goal king on the World Cup List,what do you want again?The fact that you snubbed the Black Stars at a very crucial moment when leadership was needed is enough evidence for you to retire peacefully or get fired.If you were to be a ship Captain,you could get jail sentence for what you did.Reason up,my boy.You have already let us down.Go to the archvies at the GFA and study what is demanded of a Black Stars Skipper.I am not sure Gyan has taken some time of to read about former Black Stars Skippers.I will advise GFA to publish books on former Stars Skippers especially Emmanuel Quarshie who was the last to win the Cup of Nations for Ghana in 1982.Thank you.

  Lecturers in tertiary institutions must recognize the fact that students in these institutions are adults. Some are maybe teachers looking for a masters degree, nurses, sportsmen or businessmen looking for a first degree. They may appear very young; needless to say the lecturers must be very professional.
  
  It has been said that many lecturers lack teaching methodologies. What should be the minimum requirement when recruiting lecturers into a tertiary institution? Is it a masters degree or a PhD with a course in education??
  
  Professors in tertiary institutions must read GES directives. There are many important and useful GES directives which would help them.
  
  GES banned all forms of corporal punishment in Educational institutions but there are reports that some tertiary institutions are still carrying out this practice. Asking students to kneel down and so on.

  There are subtle rules to remember when giving praise and appreciation.
  Mr Captain, you are obliged to use these keys as a daily guide, like it or not.
  . Praise must be sincere. Cuz, mere flattery have been known to be shallow. Like an adulterous pastor enjoyed explaining to his beleaguered congregation: Praise a person for what he does and not what he is. What for?
  
  Mr Captain, am glad you have now come to your senses that uneasy lies the head of a king. The 2010 WC penalty missed, plus your decision to stay away from related PKs have caused pains in our heart never to be healed.
  If you want to leave a lasting legacy when your playing time is over, you are obliged to religiously follow my foolish suggestions above. That's perhaps be your best bet.
  
  Right now, I can conveniently say you have done well steering the captaincy
  to three world cups and a host of AFCONs. But you have not produced any trophy. Therefore your report card, and ratings is zero.

  I ve tried to overcome my emotions since that crucial penalty misses by two of our inexperienced players at that fateful night in Equatorial Guinea. Before the game i predicted with confidence that Ghana will beat Ivory Coast on technical grounds and there we were they already lost two of their spot kick and all the team has to do is select players who are confident enough to convert but instead for unknown reason the captain abstained from the spot kick and to be honest with you Gyan would have scored if he had taken the penalty regardless what happened in his previous spot kick misses and for the captain to retreat in those circumstances is gravely appalling and that constituted in Ghana losing the AFCOM finals against the undeserved Ivory Coast who went on to win as a result. There is no excuse whatsoever for Gyan to decline, football is played with confidence and if you know what you are doing you should take every responsibility to do what will bring glory into your team and he failed completely as a captain. Am so angry and dont really wants to talk too much but for him to consider his decision to abstain in future is a welcoming news. As a captain he should always do and die for his team regardless whether he miss it or not. Wakaso and the Ayews are confident enough and that is why the spot kick was so easy for them so its about time Gyan prove to be that confident also in future if he wants to remain in the national team and as a captain. Now or never.

The moment Ivory Coast was two down,the experience players like Dede, Badu, Mensah should have taken the advantage to seal the win for Ghana. How on Earth should they allow those two inexperience boys who had never taken any penalty before??? Dede will forever curse himself for wanting to take the last kick for personal glory. As for Gyan, he is good and evil for Ghana.The least I talk about him the better. I don't know if he is a curse to the National team.

  Asamoah, you are our leader. I respect your decision. I remember all you endured. As a leader, part of it is knowing when to step away. If u feel not taking a pk is in the best interest of the team, I can respect that.
