Some officials received percentages and commissions after the promises were made. They have used up these percentages and commissions already and cannot refund them when asked to payback the monies. As such, they had to force the Black Stars to take the cars even though the Black Stars under-performed at the World Cup in Brazil.

Even if the Stars under-performed in the CAF, they still would have been forced to take the vehicles because the "football people" had already squandered their percentages and will have no means of accounting or refunding their "cuts".

Some of these players even did not put on a jersey the whole tournament in Equatorial Guinea but still got the cars. Some put on the jersey and kicked a useless penalty which did not go into the net, but still got the cars.

These cars are said to be promises to the Black Stars during the Brazil WC. If so, did Muntari, Essien and KPB also receive their cars?

Is it Grand Cherokee summit(V8 OR V6), Grand Cherokee Overland, Limited or Laredo? U journalist have a duty to educate so plse don't be lazy. Get information abt the cars. For e.g. Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT V8 here in Australia is 84,722(Aus dollars), Summit is $81,527, Overland (V8) is $76,852, Limited(V8) is $65,552 and Laredo (V6 petrol) is 46,500(Aus dollars).
Without information like this in the public domain, what happens if the players have been given lowest of the range and yet the price of the top of the range is quoted to the state to beat the tax system. Plse journalists, work harder.
