1. The gov't started promoting the purchase of made in Ghana Goods but ended up going against its own rules by importing Chinese Chairs for the refurbishment of the Parliament as against local furniture companies.
2. The gov't chose to have Turkish or so companies for the reconstruction of the housing scheme in Ghana as against the numerous real Estate developing companies.
3. The gov't should stop importing cars into the country for the ministries because, Apostle Sarfo is manufacturing cars in Ghana, right?

This is also a good way to save employment of people like the sports administration in Ghana.

Can you see how stupid the gov't behaves? This is a competitive world, and full of choice. If you want yours to be patronized improve upon it. Do something that your opponent could not do in order to draw more people.

We are not in the Communist world that the gov't can control everything by blocking people's freedom of choice.

Ayariga should wise up. Banning European Soccer from Ghanaian TV will not boost going into the Ghanaian Stadium to watch matches. Unless we have something more serious from the players and the sports administration better than that of European soccer.

Ayariga does not understand simple logic.

It is good to watch the best leagues to stay current with skills, formations, attacking/defensive mechanisms, suulias, freekicks etc. Watching the best foreign leagues can also be a plus. Ask yourself why southbafrica seems to not be able to well in continental tournaments like they used to? The reason why the mark fish, etc went to play in Britain was becos of the exposure they were getting through the media.that alone helped a generation of south African players. Today, how many south African players are in the epl or in the top 5 euro leagues? The lack of exposure to euro leagues is affecting the quality of the South African game becos the exposure is not there. If ylundont have south African kids watching and wanting to emulate the skills of Ronaldo, messi, eto, welbeck, you're etc. What will the future behold for South African soccer in general u ask? Mediocrity! Solution: limit the number of foreign league exposure on tv to about 1game per week but make sure the local game is also being developed and kept.pace with foreign league standards.

The problem is the mass exodus of players to foreign lands to seek greener pastures. lot of the Ghana players playing outside never played in the local league. The football academies are good but their graduates should be compelled to play in the local league before they can leave the shores of Ghana. We used to watch European and Brazilian leagues in the 70s and 80s and yet fans went to the local stadiums to watch league games because of the caliber of players in the various teams. And that was the reason why Ghana teams almost always reached finals or semi finals of Africa club competitions. these days, they hardly go farther than preliminary rounds. The solution should be that all players should play in the local league for a minimum of two/three years before they can be released to go play outside ghana

Make the local league worth watching and people will go to the stadiums. In the good old days of soccer, all people cared about was Akotex, Bofoakwa, Kotoko because of the good games and players.
