I watched the fight and in no other way, you can tell me that win by Lawson was controversial. It was only the 4th 5th and 6th rounds that was won by Prescott. It was a great much. Lawson proved his worth, he just needs to fight experienced boxers and he had one yesterday here in south Florida. He really won the fight. Look at the face of Prescott .It tells the whole story.

So last night we learnt everything we need to know about Federick Lawson so far, that he was young, can box, has a punch BUT IS NOT READY FOR A WORLD TITLE YET. Lawson who is 25 real Ghanaian years, was hurt a couple of times, stayed off plan in the middle rounds.Prescott of Amir Khan knockout fame can brawl but does not do well with boxers, as we can see from his looses with Alvarado,Terence Crawford,Kevin Mitchel. Lawson tried to engage certain times instead of boxing which nearly cost him the fight. Ghanaians should always remember that 11 of lawsons 20 knockouts were to people of extreme loosing records. What we know is he is still learning , has a good Chin because Prescott can punch and is no joke. Prescott the smaller man nearly won the fight and the knockdown which was not real, saved Lawson. He blamed his performance on the weather , which could be a factor, Miami is hot, California is cold and Lawson didn't get to Maimi early enough to Acclimatize. Nevertheless, he can jab alittle like IKE QUARTEY and is a full fledge big welterweight like JOSHUA CLOTTEY, but hes no AZUMAH NELSON. With that being said, Im still happy he won, LETS GO RED,GOLD,GREEN....

You have a point on Ike loosing to Dela Hoya, its the Same as Joshua Loosing to Cotto, both in the 11 th and 12 th round. They were gassed out,lacked edurance in the championship rounds.Remeber Ike Quartey was the first to knockdown Oscar Dela Hoya and I was at BOTH FIGHTS.I also saw Ike beat Vernon Forest and get robbed live in New York , it was a very painful night for me. Now with that being said, fights from AL Haymon's PBC are now on regular TV . Theres Adonis Stevenson vs Sakio Bika Saturday at 3 EST , and also upcoming Garcia vs Peterson. I will be in Puerto Rico watching Olando Salido vs Martinez live. And Please Richard Commey cant beat Rances Bethlemy so stop calling him to fight Rances, at least not now, you can also see Rances last fight, it was the same night as Lawson/Prescott and was on the same bill. Commey throws amateurish wide hooks and Rances will make him pay for that with a check hook or step the side and counter upcut.
