I don't know if you're christian but nearly 70% of Ghanaians are Christians and the Christian doctrine teaches the followers of Christ to forgive to be forgiven. You're not without sin and so is Sulley Muntari. After careful reflection he has decided to apologize. He deserves commendationand our support. Who are you to deny him forgiveness? Remember that an apology does not always mean the one apologizing is wrong. Sometimes in order to restore peace, order, reconciliation and progress an apology is always a good gesture. Good people don't frown upon an apology.

Do not invite Sulley, Essien and Boateng even if they can play with the skills of Messi and Naymer combined. Any time you invite any of these players, that would be the beginning of the end of your career. These three players are not skillful, they do not have the Ghanaian flair. Grant, please watch the videos of the 1978 and 1982 and perhaps 1992 crop of players of the Black Stars and you will understand what I mean. Do not listen to so-called senior spots journalists who would come knocking at your door to recall any of these players.

Three million dollars was transported to Brazil, the poor taxpayers bearing that cost. GFA members received substantial amounts of money for no reason. The co-efficient formula was used to distribute funds to GFA. In as much as I am not condoning the physical behavior of Sulley in particular, the gross mismanagement catapulted that behaviour. We had a coach who knew not what he was doing, just a puppet of GFA. Selecting players based on personal relationships (Albert Adomah), making Gyan the captain at the expense of other senior players etc etc. These things go a long way. Sum all these up and you will find an unworkable group. Just imagine how Adam Kwarassey was treated in Brazil. Players like Boye demanding the replacement of Kwarassey and the coach following such instructions from these boys.
WE CANNOT JUST BLAME THE THREE AMIGOS. IT GOES FURTHER THAN THAT UNLESS YOU JUST LOOK AT THE SURFACE. Why didn't such behaviour occur in our previous world cups? Corruption, Corruption, Corruption is at the root of all such deviant behaviour by the boys.
IF SULLEY APOLOGIZES, WHICH OFFICIALS SHOULD DO LIKEWISE? IF SULLEY IS BANNED, WHICH OFFICIALS SHOULD BE BANNED? So many questions demand answers.
Most of the players were hypocrites (including the captain) and have benefitted from the unruly behavior of the so called detractors. The players were all behind Sulley to cash in their 100K. We all saw the kisses.
Let us be analytical enough to read between the lines.

Muntari deserves commendationnot condemnationHe has nothing to lose if he never plays for Ghana again but his apology is the ample demonstration of his great love for country. What about those who still support and vote for politicians who bankrupt the national economy through corruption, gross mismanagement and recklessness and put millions of lives in danger? Muntari has done the right thing by apologizing. I support him and welcome him back to the fold. If Muntari genuinely wanted to apologize for his misconduct in Brazil during the world cup,why has it taken him this long? We know that out of insolence he has shown disrespect towards people, high and low in society, who had called upon him to show some remorse and say sorry to Ghanaians who were hurt by his actions that saw his suspension from camp.
Note that this is not the first time he had misbehaved and similarly refused to see that he was at fault and therefore needed to say a simple sorry.
He respects the pride in him more than good advice and common sense.
It will not be a surprise if it turns out that some people who want to see him called back into the national team for whatever reason are leading the crusade to make it appear as if Muntari showing some level of regret for his actions.
Well, if they think they can fool us, they will be the bigger fools because Muntari's apology can't be genuinely from his heart.
