IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN PLANNED BETTER, AND ALSO THE CONTRACTOR MADE TO ENSURE THE DEBRIS TO RUN INTO THE GUTTERS OR FACE A SANCTION. LET THE LEADERSHIP UNDERSTAND THEY ARE THE CAUSE OF THIS DISASTER AND THEY SHOULD BE BOLD TO TAKE THE BLAME SO IT CAN BE USED AS A LESSON AND MAKE AMENDS TO AVOID FUTURE RECURRENCE!!! THANK YOU FOR THE DONATION THOUGH, A GOOD EFFORT, EXCEPT THE WRITER DIDN'T LET US KNOW WHAT THE DETAILS OF THE DONATION WERE!

Its very sad to loose our fellow human beings like this but dont forget that heaven help those who help themselves. Keep Accra vis a vis Ghana clean to avoid this kind of unbearable situation.

In other parts of the world national disaster like these usually see a huge responds in donations and other forms of benevolence from their celebrated athletes. Unfortunatley, where I am from our athletes (esp Black Star players) are so selfish and inward looking that I am yet to see any of them come forwatrd with a sizeable donation to help the relief effort.
I am really suprised that the public is not asking these questions.
