Asamoah Gyan was wasteful in the game. He is not criticized because we won the game, but he has to trust his team mates and pass the ball when he needs to. We could have had a couple more from Jordan and later on from Benard ...

We could have had a couple more from Jordan and later on from Benard Mensah had Asamoah been less selfish and shared the ball. Ghana should re-consider reducing his minutes in our games because these youngsters are better than him at the moment but his presence is eclipsing their development.

I do think that Gyan needs to be more of a sixty minute man and then we can inject youthful energy into the game later. Accam finally showed what he is capable of and Jordan seemed to pay better. Time will tell.

Gyan missed some yesterday because to be honest, the game got to a point where it was more of a training exercise. If this were a more competitive team, he would have been a bit more focused on execution. At the end of the day, Gyan is a player who can disappoint but then he can also make that critical goal when we really need him. I would not get rid of him yet. Nevertheless, his header off of the corner kick was great.
I get the sense that Jordan is maturing. He is a striker who also passes well. Technically, I suspect that Jordan is really best as a right wing but he has been put at forward all the time. If he can be consistent against stronger competition, we might have something to talk about soon. I do believe that Assifuah and Boakye-Yiadom need to be give a chance to join the fold.

Opponents far below standard . Any of the premier league clubs could easily have beaten the Mauritians. Soccer is a hobby in MAURITIUS .

Wakaso is quite effective with long passes and long range shots. There are going to be very tight games along the way where we need a player who can strike from range.
