I told you to play counter attack, you didn't. In the last 2 editions of the u20 wcup. Every satellite team had some bstar players on the squad. This particular squad didn't have any players who play with the senior team. I even advised Tetteh should allow aboagye, Yeboah etc to play with the bstar in friendly games. You know to up their confidence. But Tetteh didn't listen. This mali team even had players from their senior team. No wonder mali looked so disciplined. Tetteh, no more under 20 for you. Give him a female team to coach.

Coach Silas Tetteh and indeed GFA should understand that football coaching techniques are evolving; there's new tricks that coaches around the world, and of course ours too have to try to study and upgrade. Look at Brazil for instance; they've made lots of progress looking at the performances at the on-going tournament.

I've always been an admirer of Coach Silas Tetteh, but he we all must admit that he needs to change or improve his style of play. Our team has been playing the European kind of football, where they're always chasing the ball. The Coach still good but just that he needs to upgrade. The Malians out-played us in every department of the game; they played simple but intelligent football, blended with simple wall passes and ball control; they were well knit, while we were chasing the ball, hoping to run all over the field with our long passes and ball distribution married with lots of running. Folks should watch some of the games on YouTube. We were lucky to have drawn with Austria and Panama's victory.

I knew everything could happen in our next games. Coach Silas Tetteh has done his best; he could decide to step aside for fresh brains to take over. But that decision is for him or the GFA to make. Other nations are catching up fast with us and it's time for us to try to improve, rather than thinking we're always the best.

That's an illusion! The earlier we thought about stepping up our game the better it would be for us.

The pre tournamemnt favourites were Argentina and Ghana. Ghana caused the elimination of Argertina in the group stages and it took a lot out of us.

Ghana would be damn silly to get rid of a coach of the calibre of of Sellas. In fact if Sellas who sets high standards for himself offers to resign, the GFA should refuse his resignation.

May be rather than Sellas being so humble, he should list the chain of soccer players he has developed in his time. By international standards he would have few competitors

In all the commentaries on the youth tournament in NZ, Sellas emerged as the favourite coach of all or all commentators.

Let us swallow our pride and accept that we were beaten on the day.

sellas tetteh is definately the best ghanaian coach ever...i will rather put the blame on paa kwesi fabin for not producing the right players to feed the satellites squad...he was the u17 coach in 2013 remember

Sellas Tetteh is one of the most successful local coaches we have ever had. His credentials are undisputable. The fact that Satellites lost to a better side at the world cup does not mean he should be sacked. He led Satellites to almost all the juniour world cups since he took over while the Starlets (U-17)and the Meteors (U-23)have failed to qualify for recent U-17 World Cup and Olympics respectively. Last time Meteors played at the Olympics was in 1996 (i think) here in the US. Malik Jabir, who is the coach, is almost 80 years old. That he was a good player and coach is also undisputable but he is too old to handle the team. His last assignment was to qualify Ghana for the Brazil games next years and once again has failed when we were eliminated by Congo last month. Instead of sacking Tetteh, he should be promoted to the Under-23 and Malik retired
