I don't see anything wrong with Asamoah Gyan in the Chinese League. The guy has been in the game for some time now and has tons of experience. He is not going to China to gain more footballing experience. People complain that the Chinese league is not competetive enough to keep him at a high. But how good is the league he left in the Middle East? It isn't any better than the Chinese League. Yet he came to contribute his fair share to the national team. I am sure he will continue doing that.
His age has been put at 29 which is the time most attackers are at their best. I don't think Gyan is going to become any better than he is now (perhaps a bit more experienced). Only he and his mother knows his real age. There is absolutely nothing wrong with him making as much money from the game as he can now that he is still on his two feet.
I think we should wish him good luck in his new league and hope that he still gives his heart out to the national team when called upon. He broke our hearts in South Africa 2012 but we have long forgiven him and he has repaid his debts to us by always coming to play for us.
Good luck, Gyan. Don't leg anybody break your legs in China and stay fit...

We have not forgiven him yet. that penalty will haunt him for ever even if he makes 1 trillion dollars per second.
