Wow!
I am awefully glad to hear this.
Long live Dogo Moro, Salisu, Kwame Adakwaa, Kwadwo Mfum and Osei kofi.
Ken
These people played for Kotoko and Ghana just for the love of club and country. Not like today's players who are at where they are because of what Osei Kofi an Co did years ago. In 1971, Osei Kofi refused to play fir Stoke C ...

In 1971 after winning the African Cup in Kinshasha Kotoko returned home to play a midweek game against Akotex of Akosombo.
Kotoko had paraded the Cup in front of 90,000 spectators before the game. Guess what? They were thum ...

TROUBLESOME AKOTEX DID IT BEFORE.
Sensational Akotex they called them not troublesome.
Kotoko lost by the same margin in Kumasi against Cornerstones(1970) and that was the first game the late Robert Mensah played for Kotoko.
Our journalists must begin to be more serious and research into issues before coming up with such baseless facts. Arm-chair journalism will confuse our history
It was a midweek game and it was poorly attended because Kotoko supporters thought Akotex was minced meat. Kotoko did not parade their full strengh team. It was a big surprise anyway to us Kotoko supporters.
With Robert Mensah in goal for Dwarfs, Dwarfs beat Kotoko in Cape Coast. That is Kotoko's worst defeat.
After that game Kotoko poached Robert Mensah to play for them.
THANKS FOR TAKING THE WORDS OUT OF MY MOUTH.
Did Disco Face played for Akotex or Dumas Boys ?
Kotoko breaks 80 year old record because Otumfour Osei Tutu is the curse on Asanteman and Asante Kotoko. The life patron of Kotoko is an ardent supporter of Accra Hearts of Oak and would wish Hearts succed rather than Kotoko. ...

Acquaye played for Dumas
The only thing the club should do is to call back KK Sarpong and his management to manage the affairs of the club or Herbert Mensah.
It was a mid week game. Rev Botwe, May his soul rest in peace, was in goal. Akotex became a thorn for both Kotoko n Hearts.
This is not true Akotex Football Club of Akosombo Textiles walopped Kotoko 3 goals to nil in a mid week league match in the seventies so this cannot be Kotoko's heaviest defeat in Kunasi in 80 years. It is a lie
By then we used to see the midweek games under the beautiful floodlights. And there was nothing like dumsor.
its no more Accra,Kumasi, its now football made in BA period.
Didn't hearts of oak with players like Sammy adjei,Jacob nettey'ishmael addo, osei kufour, amankwa mireku, osumanu amadu, adja tetteh just to mention a few trash and wallop this same kotoko 4:0 at the Accra stadium in the year 20 ...

Nooooo. Cape Coast Dwarfs beat them at the venue in 1969 that caused them to buy keeper late Robert Mensah.
In Cape Coast, not Kumasi.
Search the records well . C.C was I think 5 - 0
All the two teams after winning 3 - 0 fell out of Premiere league . Berekum Chelsea prepare for a long break from the elite league .
Cos Kotoko is God, has Hearts dalled from the elite afta trashing u 4nil. Lv in fools paradise

Can really lie in a broad day light
Football/Soccer is a combination of sports and business. not just sport. if you don't blend them together properly you'll continue to see what's happening at Kotoko and Hearts.
Football now is business and must be run like that. There must be a professional touch for it but these clubs in Ghana lack that. Kotoko must change hands and Otumfour, should give relinquish majority stake to a private inves ...
