Just as many decide to adopt a different Nationality after they have long matured, so do we have to accept or, at least, acknowledge that there are many reasons why others split from relationships and move on, and might never look back.

Nevertheless, for the children, caught up in the middle of such relationships, it is the culminating fact of the permanent (or many years of) absence by a living parent that causes them to reject their biological roots to him or her, based on their childhood experiences.

The Mothers could as much be the problem as the fathers. It is all case-specific. But whoever keeps the Child most often retains the 'certificate' of inculpability, and earns the Child's favor, at the other's expense.

The child is now a matured man, I wish he finds the father to hear his side of the story. I have accompanied at least two people to the Ghana Embassy before who were looking for their Ghanaian fathers. Believe me or not, no African will reject a prenancy. You know our love for children. Let him reveal the fathers name. I tell you this man might not even know he has a son somewhere. A guy I know from Guinea was driven out of his 7 months pregnant woman`s house. And now the child is almost 1 and a half year now. My friend is fighting to get recognition as the father through the law court. What do you expect the woman to tell the child in future. That`s why I love German, you go through procdure until the truth comes out. Please don`t judge until you hear from the father.
