  The opposite of foreign coach is lcoal/Ghanaian coach, not indigenous coach. Ghanaian media are fond of misusing indigene/indigenous.

  kwesi appiah could have made a strong case but getting into the world cup he picked up an axe to grind with essien & kevin right from preparatory matches just because the 2 did not come for the local training.

  Coaching the Black Stars is avery tough undertaking, especially if you are not abrest with the time and development of the game! It is not only being able to handle egos and gaining the players respect! The coach must be very innovative be technically an ace, because most of the players play abroad and have superb training facilities and personell at hand! To gain their respect, you have to show that your standard is at least comperable to that of their club coaches other than that they will laugh at you whenever you turn your back to them! Black Star coaching job is not easy at all, Mr Sarpong!!!
