The Elite cup competition is also organized by the GFA. Obed Owusu served his suspension when he sat down during the Kotoko and that team from Dunkwa during the Elite cup competition. Obed Owusu has served his punishment.

Hearts is basing its protest on the pretext that the rules guiding the Elite competition is different from the rules of the league and the FA cup completion. GFA cannot organize competions with different rules.

the question you need to ask yourself is why should the 3rd referee who issued the 3rd yellow cards refused to send him off? because 3yellow cards in 3matches or a game supposed to be red.
why should GH referee go ahead and issue a 4th yellow card in the same competition?
tells you that there is no records of yellow cards to the player in question . i dont want to admit that the player had 4 yellow cards without given him a red card , it dosent matter if it is in one or more matches -the rules are clear 3yellow cards is redcard .

If a player accumulate 3 yellow cards in MTN or League competition the player automatically get 1 match suspension. It's the job of the team managers to keep records of all the yellow cards their players receive in all the competitions they play in and not the referee. Every team receive caution after every match day and even if u don't it's up to the team managers to keep records. So u understand the referees don't care, if the player is suspended and the team uses him it's none of the referees business he will officiate the match, the body to ensure that is there to automatically whip the offending team.

According to the rules Hearts don't have a point but Goldfields do because match day 4 involved them not Hearts. The 3 points go to AshGold not Hearts. He qualified to play against Hearts, assuming allegations are true

In any case assuming that was not the case, how many matches ban does an accumulated three yellow cards attract. If one, then Obed was not qualified to play against Gold Gields and not Hearts. There is nothing in the books as four yellow cards. Hearts are being mischievous by stretching the matches to four to cover their match. The player became qualified to play against Hearts after the Ashgold match. Hearts have therefore no locus to protest on behalf of another club. In any case Goldfields may have lost interest in the protest by the turn of events remembering what Hearts did to them in 2010, allowing Aduana to win the league. One good turn deserves another, and this time round Hearts have no one to lean unto but themselves. They must sweat out of the relegation net. Is that why the league has been suspended? To get the sacred cow Hearts of Oak out the relegation net?

Why should Kotoko cry, Why do Ghanaians take going to court or disciplinary committee is a crime, go and defend your case, simple. Football is not only on the field it has process and procedures.
