If in the 21st century Ghana can't get electric power for the people with our:

Oil, Gold, Diamonds, Manganese, Bauxite, Cocoa, Timber, Income & Property Taxes, Import duties, Bilateral loans, IMF & World Bank loans, annual budget support from the Western nations, Free Foreign Aid, Debt forgiveness, HIPiC, etc., etc., then HOW THE HELL DO YOU EXPECT AMBITIOUS PEOPLE CONTINUE TO STAY IN THAT HELL HOLE?? Are you crazy or what??

But, he (Abedi Pele) has no damn business criticizing other players while his three sons are busy playing abroad for money: Andre (France or England), Jordan (England or France) and the oldest son—Achtung bitte—playing in Germany. He must be careful not to curtail the trust those 'lower'leagues have in the Ghanaian players nor the wealth that is associated with the players who are thronging the Arab World. Ghana is a football exporting country. Let Abedi consider whether he played for the sake of Ghana or for his success and future well-being of the children that he brought forth in France. Hence the need for him not to open his mouth on a topic like this.

It's called the recycle game. The answer to that is just to call up the hungry young players from the academies and Europe (even those warming benches) to play for the Black Stars, and let the washed up go over there to make money and end their careers.

In turn, those of the new called-ups who can't make it in prime time can also go to China, India or wherever to make retirement money.

In this way, we would end up getting only the cream of the crop to play for the Black Stars. I am not worried at all because they are coming out of the academies in dozens. The only problem is that we continue to feature those retirement-bound players in the Black Stars at the expense of the young and coming, and so, we end up having a weaker team with non-passionate and uncommitted players.

If we continue on this path, we should kiss trophies goodbye, and let the Malians and Cape Verdean rule African soccer.

Epl prolly also has much better players, better paid than in france. That's why. It will take more than 1 season for jordan to bloom. He has a better shot in division 1 or go back to french top flight marseille where he is already familiar with the surroundings

He Abedi Pele played for Al Ain fc in the United Arab Emirate after playing in Europe for years, so what is the problem with Muntari and Gyan moving to the Arab world after playing in Europe for years as well? Muntari and Gyan are doing exactely the same thing he Abedi Pele did so why is he complaining. If up and coming young players are giving up or turning down offers in Europe and moving to the Asia league then fine, there might be a cause for concern when it come to our national teams, but not established players who have only got few years left in them to do what they do. Only time will tell if Dede Ayew and Jordan Ayew will join the train to the Gulf league or China League. Abedi paaaaaaaa!! you go hammer your cash finish, retire in peace, but you no want make your brother too go hammer some! Oh Abedi!!! Remember most of the Black Stars players who won the African cup of nations for Ghana where local players, so playing in the so called competitive leagues does not guarantee anything.
