  Why is Chelsea using his first name Baba, and not his last name Rahman? Essien's & Drogba's last names were used, not Michael E. Or Didier D.

  You are perfectly right; if a player starts from the bench that doesn't mean he is less of a player. Coming into the game from the bench might be part of the coach's strategy for winning the game.
