I disagree with your Statement "It is quite pathetic for board room points to determine who goes to relegation and who stays in the league" I am not in favor of either side, but in every game there are rules. Some of the rules are applied on the field and some in board rooms. So if a team fails to comply with a rule that need to be determine from the board room so be it. Kotoko have the right to appeal even to the court. That is what democracy means. And what ever the results, it will be a test case for the future. Yes board rooms are form to make decisions like this.

Again, appeals are not made on the grounds of disagreeing with the ruling. Appeals are made on the law and the ratio decidendi presented by the judge or in this case GFA. Please, stick to sports journalism and leave the lawyers to use the law as a shield or sword.

The Almighty GFA considered all the competitions including the premier league, the FA cup and the elite cup. And since FIFA does not recognize the elite cup to represent a nation in any African tournament you cannot use that ...

The Almighty GFA considered all the competitions including the premier league, the FA cup and the elite cup. And since FIFA does not recognize the elite cup to represent a nation in any African tournament you cannot use that as a served suspension. The said player could have played in the elite cup game and be booked for a yellow and that will not be counted for participating in the premier league or the FA cup.
