  The spectatorship problem has nothing to do with the quality of the game in Ghana.
  It is all about business execution. The league in Ghana has to be seen as a retail commodity/service.
  The EPL did it heavy TV advertising, sponsorships, endorsements and promoting and showing the players.
  Think of the players as the wares you are selling. They need to be portrayed in a positive light that Ghanaians would want to pay to watch them play.
  Then the next is the Shelf in which you display your items, the stadia. Much is left to be desired of our stadia. More esthetics definitely required at the stadium.
  You are more likely to watch a movie starring a popular movie star and also be willing to pay more. Well, so too is football. For spectators, football is just a movie of football.
  How do you solve this problem? Make your footballers movie stars - promote them, associate them with popular brands. Occasionally draft in popular footballers around the world to come and play in Ghana.
  Not just advertise games, advertise footballers, coaches and your pitches. Showcase your top quality pitches.
  Work on branding the Ghanaian league positively. For this, learn from the English Premiership league. Observe what they do when a high profile player joins the EP league.

What promotion ideas can you borrow from sapl, epl etc. We all saw the fa cup final at essipong. If you had played the final game between ashgold and oly in Obuasi. U would have seen a huge crowd.
