While I am all for paying the ladies more, to show the country's appreciation, we need to remember that there is a limit to what that bonus could be. A lot is going to depend on what they earned for each level of advancement.

Why are some people on the throat of President Mahama instead of the GFA president Nyantakyi.Every single cent paid in regard to football for Ghana goes through the GFA.Agreements on bonuses for the various national teams (U16-Black Stars/men & women)are handled with the Sports Ministry/GFA, but procceeds from tournaments are paid to the GFA, who in terms of right and form, obliged to houour payments to government chest and players bonuses. The GFA must be held for the unpaid bonuses to the QUEENS. Nyantakyi and his MAFIA gang are using the money to bid for projects in the country.

The amount of money you make depends on the amount that your work generates. If you are an airhostess you do the same type of work as the waitress in a ‘face the wall’ chop bar. The waitress may even work twice as much as the airhostess but whoever’s job generates more money gets the better pay.
Ghanaians have to get away from the idea that a soccer player may be young and less formally educated than a minister so the latter deserves more pay. The money comes from the organizers of the tournament not the Ghana government.
That said, my next child will be named after Muntari, I hope you know why.

That is not their salary/ it is their bonus. this can be based on their participation or how far the team advanced in the tournament.

I do not speak for NSA or the Sports Ministry but this is the little I know. NSA was given only 1/2 of the money they needed for All African Games. They furnished every sporting discipline with with the bonus structure before departure as follows:
Team sports:
Good - $2000
Silver - $1000
Bronze -$500 to each player

Individual events:
Gold - $5000
Silver - $2000
Bronze - $1500
This is very small for a tournament such as AAG. Finance Ministry should be blamed for slashing the budget and making our athletes suffer. Black stars are earning 5 times more per match. I thought we are all wearing the same national colours to play? Why pay some more than others. If these guys are paid more, same should be extended to all medal winners.
