We can't compare current Black Star players to old days. This time football is money and it time to make it. In the old days the spectators were itching to support we players both in kind and cash.

There is some truth in this statement. But don't forget the officials. These so call technical team are more unpatriotic than the players. They are greedy sobs that is why the stars are unpatriotic.

I also do not buy the idea of comparing incomes from various nations to what is pertaining in Ghana and Africa in general but the truth of the matter is like it or not times have changed and like it or not times will continue to change.The days when the Osei Kofi,Akwasi Wusu,Dan Owusu etc were given Tea Kettles is history folks want to better their lives just as Politicians are lining their pockets with green,Pastors milking the gullibles,our Police taking bribes,customs officers milking importers etc.every player is also thinking about his future.Nothing today is free.Just look at our local league it is dying out not because of Nyantakyi or anybody else to blame we take the blame because we are refusing to pay the players their due so they are all running out of the country just pay them well now and not tomorrow.Let us be realistic in our thinking to be current with current trends if not more disaster is waiting to happen.
