Certain core players should always have multiple entry visas to certain countries. Once again, my argument is why not learn to have friendlies in Ghana and invite other nations to come to Ghana? This simply would make much more sense. There is a game next Tuesday and they do not know who is going to be playing?? At this point, just use Ghanaians from the MLS. We will lose of course but I think the promoters are in big trouble.

Nyantakyi and his cohorts at GFA will always fumble. They cannot handle bonus issues, and now, organizing a match has become a nightmare for them. They are only good at enjoying coefficient money.

Poor planning and poor communication. Why has it taken so long to communicate with the ghanaian public? Good adminstration means predicting what could happen and putting in place a plan for that. Soon as problems look apparent why not communicate that straight away? Not surprised though as we always want to do things differently.

As a former national athlete of the 70s and the 80s, whenever the team had to travel, the late Mr. O, would just gather and submit the passports of the traveling athletes to corresponding embassies . It was never done individually.
The problem is after years of corruption the embassies have become aware that non-athletes (girlfriends, etc ) were traveling as athletes. These embassies have ears on the ground.
When we have corrupt official who have misuse the system for so long, this would be the result.
This same thing happened during the world cup in Brazil
The officials I am talking about have retired and some even dead.

It would not be a bad thing to use this match as an opportunity to get an extended look at the North America based Ghanaians. Look at it as a B game. Kwarasey, Oduro, Poku, Afful, and Accam are all there. Nyarko is not going to be in the national team picture going forward, but is available in the US to help give a representative squad in a friendly. The Black Stars with EU passports will have no problem getting in, but these guys can fill out a squad.
Also, some of the best college soccer players in the US are Ghanaians in Joshua Yaro of Georgetown, Francis Atuhene of Michigan (7 goals in 9 games 15th in scoring in the NCAA as a freshman), and Abu Danladi of UCLA. A decent number of the regulars are banged up. Why not get a look at some of the Ghanaians in the area of the match? Time will tell if Gershon Koffie deciding to represent Canada will be a notable loss, but getting a good look at some of these guys can certainly be beneficial going forward even if it is just to practice.

And some ignorant fools wanted Grant to stay in Ghana and wait for the players. These ignorant fools, YEBOAH, KANTAMANTO and all those who think like them are a danger to Ghana football. Big shame in them.

Did the managers of the Blacks Star think that Ghanaian passport holders going to the US is like traveling to Togo? If they know that securing a visa for the US is a long process, why didn't they start early or choose a destination such as Dubai where ther are a lot of Ghanaians but not difficult to secure a visa. Oooop, I do not know how easy it would have been to get a Dubai visa for Avram Grant who is an Isreali since there is no diplomatic relations between the UAE and Isreal.
