He, at that time defined black as inferior not as a color, and that was the intent.Are you inferior? I don't call myself black, because I am not. I call myself an African. I am not black. The fact that years ago an African was forced to respond (not accepting) that he is black does not mean I have to continue responding and accepting with my free will that I am black.

  I do not get offended when someone calls me names. That indicate to me how ignorant that person is. But such behavior should not be ignored. The education and the effort must continue.
  I officially changed my english name and proudly identify myself as an African. That is who I am and refuse to allow anyone to identify me differently. Peace.

  This is not the beginning of the fight for equality, it is continuation of the sacrifices made by Martin Luther King, Malcolm X, Mandela, Kwame Nkrumah, etc. The fact remains that some people feel superior and some feel inferior. Even white women in the civilized world continue to fight for their "freedom" It is a fight that we must all contribute in our own small ways by supporting guys like Prince Boateng, Samuel Eto etc. It is also a wake up call for our politicians to see the broader picture and be encouraged to work harder for the overall improvement of the African personality.

  If it was just simply about some people feeling superior, that would be alright. Every body has the right to feel superior (good) if they think they have sufficient reason to feel so. This does not mean that they have the right to maltreat those who they erroneously think they are superior to.
  
  What we are talking about here is a more evil phenomenon called racism. It is a crime which does not only stop at demeaning and hurling insults at people of other color - especially Black African people, racism gets as bad as denying Black people their due and opportunities in life and quite frequently racists resort to murdering Black people as way of appeasing their deep-seated emotions against Black people. It is crime against humanity that is worse than terrorism. Racism has killed more Black people in the history of the world than any other cause or reason - including wars and diseases. That is how bad it is.
  
  Western European countries - including, the US and Australia, are the worlds greatest offenders and culprits of this despicable 'white' crime. Recently, Black Americans went on demonstrations throughout the US, to protest against what they termed as the racist American Police for the inordinate and rampant killing of hundreds of members of the Black population in America each year.
  
  Any African who has lived in Europe and America can confirm the pains and the discomforts of living with and amongst these racists. However due to poverty, many Black people have had to learn how to cope with the pains of racism.

  So far as we agree that racism is still alive as you said, it took them many years to define us that way. Therefore we should be ready to keep defining ourselves of whom and how we choose to be. They chose to define themselves of how they want to be. As such, we gotta stand up and keep 'fighting' to define ourselves as rich and powerful, not by words alone but deeds as much.

God Himself has been unfairly, in the most foul racist endeavor, been misrepresented by your white friends to be in the image of a white man.
  
  If the God who is said to have created all men - Black and white, can actually be credited with that great deed, do you think that He would be a white man? If he was, dont you think that He would have created white people only? So why do white people unduly make him and His chosen Son appear to be white people? At least that is the images that we see in every Christian church throughout the world - including those in Africa where the people have been brainwashed to think like you.
  
  The few 'token' Black millionaires and billionaires that you cite to seemingly disprove that a Blackman cannot 'make it' in racist countries is complete nonsense.
  
  To begin with, we are not looking at the relatively rare and insignificant individual Black success stories here. We are looking at the contemptible global psychosis of white racism and bigotry. You can be rich all you want as a Blackman but racism will still reduce you to a miserable wretch - a nobody. Even with all their wealth, the token Black millionaires and billionaires that you mention, would not dare go to certain places or areas in those countries for fear of being humiliated and abused. They also continue to suffer from racial exclusion and isolation from even the lowest white trash and nonentity in such countries.
  
  Furthermore, in the West, statistics have proven over and over again throughout the past 100 years and beyond that as a Black man, you are more likely to be stopped by the police for unnecessary interrogation, refused work opportunities - and when you are lucky enough to get a job, you have to work twice as hard as the white man doing the same job to get less pay, you will be demeaned in public by total white strangers, you will continuously fail in school as a result of all the discouraging anti-Black factors militating against the enthusiasm to to get educated and you will be sent to jail at least once in your life. They simply undermined our culture. But today when we talk about inferiority, they are keeping up the pressure for mankind to live as what happens in animal kingdom. To them 'black' is not a color, rather it is how an African perceives life.
