Never mind, that even as professionals their profiles are elevated INTERNATIONALLY, through these call-ups... some teams in Europe will not sign NONE European players, if they don't have national team experience... How much are they willing to pay for the benefits they reap from these call-ups?

Don't get confused with money & patriotism. Money is blood as well as patriotism need blood to do the job. What feeds the human is blood & blood allows human to work hard, move into motion, prepares the win win revolution. Asamoah is the team captain so he speaks for the team as a whole. To be rich does not mean to be a slave to forget receiving a penny. Most slavery minds in Ghana is a danger to national patriotism. Patriotism also need money. Patriotism is trust of equal benefits, Patriotism is fairness, Patriotism is richness.

Even the so called rich countries don't pay $10000. They should also know there are other worker's too in Ghana. If every worker needs that pay where will mother Ghana gets that money from.

In Mahama's Ghana, every worker (except politicians, if they do any work) goes on strike to get what is due them. Even the illiterate "Yeah, Yeah" men and women in parliament get their compensation for shouting.

We deny them their due monies and expected them to come to us begging us for cash when they retire from the game like the likes of Ali Jarrah,Agyeman Duah etc.The life of a footballer on the pitch is very short unlike a worker who can work till 60 yrs.These players retire from active football very early by 35 yrs so give them their due to invest now so we wont cry later when we meet them in future as beggers.

I don't understand why everyone in Ghana is paid in Cedis including the President and even the Governor of the Central Bank only for football players to be paid in Dollars. Government policies must be respected. By the way, has Asamoah Gyan ever listen to the radio or read the news about Ghana nowadays? There is indeed no money and if he is really hard working and patriotic, he should even be helping the government to pay his colleagues-Oppong Wear did that before.
And finally, the question is what have they achieved for the country?
