Given the state of our infrastructures like roads, health care facilities, security networks, communication systems and shambolic energy supply trends, among others, none of them will respect us but rather "use" us to build their track records and drop us like hot iron. Because, indeed, we are fools.

The Comoros game was all about having strikers who can finish from a distance. Warris, Accam and Jordan were trying to get into the six yard box to shoot. Come on!! When you play these type of games, you must challenge the goalie who is actually extremely scared. They let the Comoros goalie off easy. The coach should know this. Avram Grant is in trouble.

I know his teammates like him but I think this game was a good reality check. Assifuah, Boakye-Yiadom, Elvis Manu, Bernard Mensah need to be the forwards or right right wingers coming up. Dare I say, Lloyd Sam and Albert Adomah are players who can be useful at times. The days of the small person who is a great dribbler and fast are over. You have to score and be able to dispossess and opponent in modern football.

Now we can see that Ghanaians were overly harsh on Kwesi Appiah. The draw today came down to not selecting the right strikers who can be effective when Gyan is unavailable. This is a good lesson. The strikers who proved themselves at the under 20 level and are active should be getting a chance. Assifuah should start the next game. In the future Boakye-Yiadom should be called. The Warris, Jordan, Accam crew is talented but they are not big time scorers for the national team.
