but the issue is that the players we are using in midfield are not ball possessors. they are not cut out to possess the ball. they are rigid: wakasu, rabiu, badu aren ot ball possers. andre seemed so but he only hangs on the ball. it is high time we demphasis these players and give room to yaw owusu to replace afful, bernard mensah augustine okrah, dornsah godfred, kofi bekoe, richmond boakye yiadom, etc to replace wakasu, badu, gyimah edwin rabiu. the main problem is wakasu with too many long balls, too many high balls. thiese completely cut out any ingenious work in midfield. to summarise, we ave not invited ingenious players as midfielders and as long as wakasu, and badu and rabiu and edwin gyimah are deployed in misfield arhinful's observation will persist.

Wakaso is the only player who can make long range shots and he is doing it out of the midfield or on set pieces. Wakaso is critical because we will meet teams that want to play defensively and a long range shot that goes in can make a difference.
