  My take on this is that in the current economy, Ghanaians are not going to spend money to go to the stadium. One thing that Ghanaian youth are spending money on is music concerts. If organized properly it could be a win win situation. They have to involve good promoters who can get the youth out.

What kind of leaders do we have at all in ghana. They seem to have zero clue on problem solving. No one at all chastise nyantekyi so saying stupid things like these

  ghana league is low and poor at the moment because of the inferiority mentality of ghanaians not necessarily money. we look down on ours and always think foreign (white)is always better-simple.until we look within for our solutions we will never grow up. quaye should know that only when the spectator stands are full will the players get better pay that he is talking about not the other way round. what the FA should do more is to HELP increase the competitiveness and rivary of teams.create a sports sorely tv/radio channel free so we focus on player/team promotions and player/talents/ clubs (teams) interest. offcourse if my darling team hearts of oak plays well that will also help with hearts /kotoko ravalry which helps to maintain the local league. Also FA encouragemt to other teams apart from the big two to have a much larger support base will do.

  You know Quaye has said the right thing. Those who are criticizing him are looking are the different side of their eyes. In reality, years back Ghana Black Stars' match were patronized with thousands of spectators at the Accra Sports Stadium because we were having excellent local players from Hearts, Kotoko, Olympics, BA United, Bofoakwa but a few to mention form the core of the team and supporters from these teams thronged to the stadium to cheer their idol players. Today though we have excellent players as well they have no local followers. The most SILLY thing on the part of GFA is that they have made Kumasi as Black Stars home base instead of alternating Kumasi and Accra to whet the supporters appetite. Accra supporters have lost interest in Black Stars' matches. There would be a time the GFA will NEVER EVER get even a FLY to watch Black Stars match. This is what Quaye is addressing to make the sports attractive. BEEFED UP THE LOCAL PLAYERS IN THE BLACK STARS TEAM AND THE STADIUM WILL BE FILLED. Thank you Quaye.
