I went to Ghana few years ago ago after living in Canada for 20 years ,i moved to Canada at 5 grew up here had both my elementary and college esucation here.Am an environmentalist by profession.I was really shocked and at awe when i arrived i my homeland Ghana .The kinda filth and stinch i saw and smell i was really disappointed in my people how can we live in places like that.my whole visit was just sickning everywhere i went all i saw was opened drainage and sewage everywhere.I went with my paps so i asked him why can we cover our drains and sewers like its done in Canada and most other countries i beimg to?why cant we clean up after ourselves?To sum it all up i really do think these ordinary girls turned boxers are doing a great job also maybe they need to go there and teach our people how to be cleaned

Everyone wants money to do some for themselves and community. The problem, simply bring in private investors to own or lease every inch of plot in the municipalities and you will see the difference. In CA evey land is private property and you can't even park anyhow let alone trash, you be sermoned with a fine.

Yea, the open drainage system is disgusting! It's from the colonial days and we've been slow to change that. Thanks to the ladies for helping the rural folk. Shame on our leaders!
