I have watched this guy and can testify that he's good, he can shoot, got pace and can shield the ball . He is very good and won't be surprised if he plays for the Black Stars in the coming year.

Rahim is the first and eldest son of Abedi Pele Ayew. During the early 1980s when young Abedi Pele played for Tamale RTU, he had a teenage girl-friend in Tamale called Azara. Abedi got her pregnant and they had Rahim. Remember that Abedi was still a student at the Ghana Secondary School in Tamale back then and wasn't rich and famous yet, so he couldn't marry Rahim's mother, Azara. A year or so after Rahim was born, Abedi left for Qatar where he played and became improved and later moved to France (Marseille) where he became rich and famous, winning the European cup and Africa's best player 3 times. During his early years in France he married to Dede and Jordan's mother, called Maha. Maha's mother is from the Upper East Region, and her father is from Lebanon.
So, in the English sense of the word, Rahim is a half brother to Dede and Jordan, but in the African sense, he is their brother, period. Rahim is the right heir aparent to Abedi, if Abedi Pele is honest, just, and fair.
Rahim has been left out of the limelight because Abedi Pele's wife, Maha, has a strong personality, hence, she distanced Rahim from her family, as she lived in France with Abedi where she got all her children with Abedi. Abedi too, didn't give Rahim the kind of spotlight and support he deserved, keeping Rahim at arm's length. Rahim couldn't stay with Abedi in France during his childhood years, for instance. So, Rahim never got the kind of exposure, support, or attention his younger siblings got.
But I think Rahim has done well, struggling on his own and by himself, to make it as a footballer. So, now you know, my friend Kwasi Dondor.

Don't you understand that young Rahim had to grow up in Ghana because he was Ghanaians and as young boy needed his mother and grandmother parent as his Dad was playing football abroad. These issues are complicated and more so what is important is Rahim and the brothers are one big happy family and the mothers are happy like papa Pele himself.
