  Augsburg did not want to sell Rahman due to his sterling performance last season but this greedy and money-chasing Okraku was always in Germany, harassing the Augsburg officials until they gave in. He has actually truncated the smooth development of Rahman and now he is claiming several top clubs are after him. His conscience is reprimanding him for prematurely terminating the development of the boy. We all said that Baba should have stayed at Augsburg for at least another season. Now here we are!

  I am a sports analyst/panelist with Lorlornyo FM in Hohoe in the Volta region. When the news of Baba leaving Augsburg first broke out that Chelsea wanted him, I said categorically that Mourinho would not give him enough playing time because he is not fully matured for the EPL, and that he should remain with Augusburg for another season, because the team has qualified for the Europa League so Baba would have European experience which would sharpen his defensive skills more, which would in turn benefit the Black Stars but before we realized, Kurt Okraku stormed Germany and forced Augsburg to sell the boy. You and I could remember that Augsburg was delaying by intermittently increasing the price in the negotiations with Chelsea,not because they actually wanted to sell him but they thought Chelsea would back off but in the end, Chelsea's persistence coupled with Okraku's pushing around of Augsburg officals compelled the club to sell the boy, and now see where we are. Baba would have competed with Pierre Emerick Aubameyang for the best African player in the Bundesliga. Okraku should be ashamed and shut up!
