  Ghanaians are liars. Has it lost its creditability because Dede Ayew did not win? How do you give the award to Dede when this Aubameyang has scored 24 goals and 6 assists for his club in 23 matches, an average of a goal per match in a real professional league not a backwater league like UAE or China league?
  
  The award is called Africa best Player not Africa best team. If we go by a Player with a big influence with a successful national team, then it should have gone to Yaya Toure who captained Ivory Coast to the African cup.
  
  Aubameyang deserve to win the award, let's be truthful to ourselves.

I agree with those who say we shd change the criteria in favour of gud performance in competitions within Africa. But no credibility has been lost if ever there was one
